New to Guild Wars
Hey everybody, I bought Guild Wars a while back, and I FINALLY got around to opening it (my computer died for about a year)
I was wondering, which character would be best for a beginner? Thanks |

OMG, how did you go without a computer for a year?
Pick anything that looks like fun. I'm sure there's somewhere you can read about the different professions, if not here, then on the main guild wars site. If you like animals, ranger is a good choice. Want to comit mass damage, the go with an elementalist or a necro minion master. Look around and see what looks fun and interesting and the do it. www.guildwiki.org, the wiki is your friend.
Now for the profession you should choose it's really up to you. All professions have their pros and cons so pick the one best suited to you gaming style. |

Experiment. Great thing about Guild Wars is that it encourages experimentation. You have four character slots, and you can delete a character you decide you don't like at any time you wish.
Hope you enjoy it! Good hunting. |
